Abstract

Lymphoedema is a common complication of breast cancer therapy. Physical exercise is known to improve the quality of life of these patients; however, adherence to exercise programs is poor. There is a need for a social-healthcare intervention model to address this problem. Owing to its versatility, Nordic Walking is shown to be an ideal physical exercise to be used in this context.
